Musaka

Obsessedly Staff

Musaka (Serbian spelling), also spelled Moussaka, is most commonly prepared as a potato dish with ground beef. For a lower calorie option, you can supplement the potatoes with sauerkraut, eggplant or any other favorite vegetable. The preparation for this dish is basically the same whatever base you use.

Musaka, is from the Balkan, Greek, Middle East and Levant regions. This dish’s simple flavors makes it kid friendly. It’s easy to prepare and even tastes great as leftovers.
